POLYCON 2002 Termed Successful By Sponsor,
ICPA
McLean, VA Nearly 1,000 cast polymer industry manufacturers and
suppliers from the U.S., Canada and Mexico, most with direct links
to the kitchen and bath market, participated in POLYCON 2002 last
month at Walt Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort near Orlando,
FL.
The annual four-day trade show and conference which featured
educational tracks and exhibits of the latest materials, equipment
and technology for the industry was termed “successful” by its
sponsor, the International Cast Polymer Association (ICPA).
The ICPA, based here, represents more than 300 members,
including manufacturers, suppliers, fabricators and installers of
cultured marble and solid surface products used in the kitchen and
bath
During this year’s POLYCON Awards Luncheon, immediate past
president Jack Hedrick recognized Bradley Corp. as “Manufacturer of
the Year,” and Composites One as “Supplier of the Year. Hedrick
also passed the gavel to ICPA’s incoming president Rodd Werstler,
president and CEO of Massillon, OH-based Tower Industries.
The next edition of POLYCON will take place Jan. 24-27, 2003 at
the Hyatt Regency Dallas, in Dallas.
