1. Demand for services is stronger than ever. Supply delays are widespread. Building product prices are rising. Please name the concrete steps you take to keep customers satisfied as timelines and prices are fluctuating?

At Preferred Siding, transparency and communication has always been an important factor when doing business with our customers. Many our customers are already aware of what is going on with the construction and manufacturers and seem to understand the uncertainties of today’s market. Most have been quite understanding and accept the material delays we’ve experienced.

2. A good remodeling or home improvement firm knows the limits of its capabilities to take on additional work. What do/would you communicate to clients when you cannot handle their job and must decline their inquiry?

As a small business that prides itself in attentions to details and quality installations, an honest and direct communication with our customers have always worked positively for us. Quality of our workmanship is a paramount importance to us and most of customers are aware and willing to wait.

If a customer has a deadline that we can not meet, we always make recommendations for other qualified contractors in the area.

3. During busy times like these, operational adjustments are needed in order to take on more work, often with the same level of staffing. What steps have you taken to ensure a quality experience despite the added workloads for your team?

Maintaining high morale of operations staff as well as our crews has always been a priority for Preferred Siding. Steve Ginsberg, the owner of Preferred Siding, has long understood that employee appreciation is directly tied with job satisfaction, workplace happiness, and employee retention. We believe this is the foundation of creating of a quality experience for customers.
