MI Windows and Doors achieves Energy Star qualifications in the Northern zone with its 1650 Extreme Double-hung Windows, which includes the option to upgrade with HP low-emissivity glass to meet Energy Star requirements for the Southern zone; also available are foam-filled and triple-glaze configurations. Interlocking sashes help reduce air infiltration, metal-reinforced meeting rails provide durability, and true sloping sills optimize water drainage and eliminate weep holes. Beveled sashes and eight exterior color options are offered for the double-hung windows.
