App, interface pairing provides remote access to indoor units

From: Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions

Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating presents its kumo cloud programmable controller app to work with the company’s Wi-Fi Interface (PAC-WHS01WF-E) to allow consumers to control their indoor units from anywhere in the U.S. Through the remote control app’s user interface on a smartphone, tablet or computer, a user can control an entire Diamond Comfort System. Compatible with the latest Electric M- and P-Series indoor units, the setup requires internet access and access to a home wireless router with a WPS button or network administrator. The app provides remote access in three steps: plug in, setup and download app. The interface then provides the capability to control multiple locations and indoor units; program heating and cooling events; indicate filter replacement and monitor errors in the system.
