Doorglass offers interactive design

ODL introduces Dialogue Layered Glass in collaboration with Observatory Studio, a Providence, R.I., design firm. The decorative and privacy doorglass takes on its own “personality” as layers of glass change form and move depending on the amount of light coming through, revealing shapes and shadows.The six Dialogue patterns are: Banter, Brainstorm, Chatter, Converse, Repartee and Whisper. Each of the six ceramic frit patterns are created through designs printed on interior layers of the insulated door glass, and each offers privacy levels, though changing based on light and proximity, that range from a moderate 3-5 to a high 8-9 on the privacy level scale. The glass is available in 11 sizes, nine of which are also offered as Severe Weather glass.
