Connected Freedom Induction Cooktop

From: Thermador

Thermador’s new Freedom Induction Cooktop touts the largest fully usable cooking surface on the market within its class, according to the company. Available in 30” and 36”, the 30” cooktop boasts 48 induction elements, while the 36” cooktop has 56. The intuitive cooktop automatically recognizes the size, shape and position of cookware on the surface. Key features include: Enhanced Full-Color Touchscreen with vibrant displays; Freedom TeppanyakiPro, which divides a teppanyaki griddle into one heated and one non-heated area, and Freedom Sapphire Glow, a light feature that provides visual feedback when a pot is moved, or whether a pot is heated or not. The Cooktop Hood Sync allows the Freedom Induction Cooktop and matching hood to communicate with one another to synchronize turning on task lighting and ventilation. When activity is detected on the cooktop surface, the range hood can automatically activate lighting and ventilation. In addition, the entire cooking surface of the cooktop can be used as one large cooking area, and up to six pots or pans on the 36” model can be heated simultaneously in any position. With the Thermador Connected Experience by Home Connect, users can exchange information and control the cooktop via the app, including: Monitoring and setting, dishes and recipes, tips and tricks, remote diagnostics and a digital user manual.
