Victoria + Albert has added the Elwick tub to its New Traditional collection. Taking inspiration from the Victorian period but adding a contemporary twist, the tub pairs a roll-top with sleek contemporary design and generous size. While the traditional design rules of strict symmetry are clear, the Elwick also features
an optimal angle of recline, fully supporting the body. With its generous dimensions, the Elwick allows the bather to completely submerge, resulting in a soak for one or two people. The rim detailing complements the decorative pedestal base, which hides all waste pipe work. Like all Victoria + Albert tubs, the Elwick is energy efficient due to its ENGLISHCAST composition, a naturally white material rich in volcanic limestone. Cast in one seamless piece, this high-performance material is naturally insulating, durable and easy to clean.
