Impact-rated patio doors

Ply Gem debuted its Mira Premium Impact Series of sliding patio doors. The 2- and 3-panel sliding patio doors are available in heights up to 8 ft. and widths up to 8 and 9 ft and with openings up to 4 ft. Forty-six exterior colors are offered. The doors help prevent windborne debris from breaking through the glass, eliminating the need to install storm shutters or heavy plywood panels. They are rated in accordance with International Residential Codes and meet ASTM impact requirements in U.S. Zone 2 (110-120 mph) and Zone 3 (120-140 mph) wind zones. The doors are also approved by the Florida Building Commission.
