EVANSTON, Ill. — There’s no substitute for the real thing, but with TOP 500 LIVE postponed until fall 2021, the next best thing is certainly three broadcast-quality webcasts featuring leading CEOs from seven TOP 500 companies.

Offered during the same week when TOP 500 LIVE  would have been held in New Orleans, the 2020 Home Improvement Pro MasterClass webcast series will offer key insights on today’s market with clear business best practices on managing people, improving processes and driving leads.

“Our Home Improvement Pro Webcast Series is destined to hit the market with the same impact that TOP 500 LIVE did when it was first introduced four years ago,” said Qualified Remodeler’s Patrick O’Toole. “Built for our pandemic reality, the webcasts are designed to be very fast-paced with clear lessons and insights. We also sought out the best platform and we selected Zoom Premium because it offers broadcast quality video and audio as well as many interactive features.”

The 75-minute webcasts, which will be held at 1 p.m. Eastern, 11 a.m. Pacific Nov. 2, 4, and 5, 2020, will include handouts, live polling, and a highly interactive question-and-answer session with the CEO faculty.

Each of the webcasts are themed. Together they are designed to convey an understanding best business practices in three key areas; how to build and maintain a strong team—PEOPLE; ways to fight cycle-time delays by improving processes for sales, installation and administration—PROCESS; lastly, how to drive better inquiries and leads resulting in greater marketing return on investment—LEADS.

Webcast No. 1, Nov. 2—PEOPLE

A company is only as strong as its team, and no one knows that better than industry leaders Adam Kaliner of Power Home Remodeling and BJ Werzyn of West Shore Home. During this first webinar, these experts will share lessons and strategies for finding, attracting, and retaining great people. This includes learning how to create a strong brand that not only attracts the best people from sales and management talent to installers and field staff, but also how to cultivate a desirable workplace.

Webcast No. 2, Nov. 4—PROCESS

Supply-line uncertainty and lead-time delays have lead to disruptions across all sectors of the industry. With no expected end to those interruptions, succeeding requires a relentless drive for identifying and improving areas for greater effectiveness and efficiencies. In this class, the faculty — Donnie McMillan Jr. of DaBellla, Patrick Fingles of Nu Look Home Design and Ken Kelly of Kelly Roofing — will focus on process and profit improvements for sales, installation, operations and more.

Webcast No. 3, Nov. 5—LEADS

With a fast-evolving digital landscape, adapting to the new technology, and thus new methods of driving inquires and converting them into leads is of the utmost importance for the survival of remodeling companies today.  This is especially true in an ongoing COVID-19 economy, when in-person events such as home-shows and canvassing are unavailable. Andy Lindus of Lindus Construction, Larry Chavez of DreamStyle Remodeling, and Chris Behan of Socius Marketing will guide participants through a list of ideas that will help professionals lower lead costs and increase marketing efficiency.
