Business technology and business software are offering new ways for remodelers and home improvement professionals to improve client experience and customer satisfaction. In what ways are you using software or technology to improve client experience?:

At Quality we use new digital interactive presentation software as well as online applications for financing. We utilize most social media platforms to keep in contact with our clients about updates with our services and rely heavily on GuildQuality for our insight into the customer experience.

Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:

Most of our clients are feeling the weight of inflation already so we are doing everything in our power to minimally increase. We have also worked out special financing rates so our clients can get everything they need at a very low monthly payment and an interest rate that is fair to their credit. Most of our clientele don’t have an out of pocket expense if they utilize our program to the fullest! The way we convey this to the client is with honesty, we show them that if we had another option we would, but unfortunately some things are out of our control. After that we show them what we have done, outlined above, to accommodate these changes and make it as painless as possible.

Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:

We have amazing factories that produce most of their own finishing. This scenario while unlikely does happen though. In this event we typically inform them that we will have a certain finish installed to get them up and running and we will double back to install the correct finish at no cost at a later date. This is satisfactory to most of clientele.
