Reico Becomes Benefactor of NKBA Initiative

Hackettstown, NJ The Center for Kitchen & Bath Education and
Research (CKBER), the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s
recently formed Foundation, announced that Reico Kitchen & Bath
has become a major benefactor.
“Reico is very happy to become a contributor to such a worthy cause
as NKBA’s Foundation,” said Bob Garner, CKD, of the Springfield,
VA-based Reico, a distributor of kitchen and bath products.

“Education is very important, and the Foundation will play a
vital role in developing the work force of tomorrow.”
Relying on the benevolence of industry leaders, the non-profit
CKBER will award nearly $20,000 in scholarships this year,
according to the NKBA.

“Research has shown that while the kitchen and bath market
continues to expand, there is a distinct lack of trained workforce
prepared to service this growing market,” said Bill Schankel,
director of industry relations for the Hackettstown, NJ-based
NKBA.

“Our goal with CKBER is to create a variety of educational
programs to help increase the professional competence of those
interested in, or currently working in, the kitchen and bath
industry,” he added..
