The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?
We have made wash stations for every single job site, porta potty’s, disinfecting high touch areas of the home multiple times a day, before the pandemic began we were already highly dust containing our work spaces and using dust extractors (so we have reminded existing clients and new clients of this additional step our company uses as a standard of practice).
Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?
We have been using Zoom, FaceTime, and Skype a lot more than we were already before. We have even started to use it for some of our intermediate client meets to save them and us time.
What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?
That we were here for them to call or email at any time. Also, we were ready to go to finish or start their projects as soon as the stay-in-place order was lifted. Lastly, we were all going to make it through this together and come out stronger on the back side of this pandemic.
