The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?

We have been very careful to respect social distancing. We have limited the size of our crews to minimize ‘crowding’ on jobs.

We have also been able to conduct some of our meetings through ‘Zoom’ and Facetime and it has proved to be effective.

And, all of our crews have been provided the needed PPE to be in compliance with the local requirements.

Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?

As mentioned, we have used Zoom and Facetime. Even our inspections with the local municipalities are now accomplished through Facetime.

We also will use short videos of the exterior of homes to share with our clients, in order for them to be able to stay in place and help in determing the needs of their remodel.

What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?

We tried to assure them that there would be minimal contact, and that we would be in full compliance with the local requirements. It really has been a smooth transition as we continue to install our jobs.

We feel that our clients have been happy with the results.
