I heard a story recently about a builder who said something like, â€œI donâ€™t need help selling green, I need to sell more projects.â€
In some markets, green can be the key to selling more projects. In other markets, clients couldnâ€™t care less about green. An even more important factor could be the builder’s local market; maybe it stinks.
So which is it?
Without talking face-to-face with the builder in question, I donâ€™t think we can determine the answer. However, I believe this guy could be facing a grim future â€“ not because heâ€™s resisting the green movement, but because heâ€™s resisting change. We all know you must adapt to changes to survive.
