Sell more green, or sell more projects?

I heard a story recently about a builder who said something like, “I don’t need help selling green, I need to sell more projects.â€

In some markets, green can be the key to selling more projects. In other markets, clients couldn’t care less about green. An even more important factor could be the builder’s local market; maybe it stinks.

So which is it?

Without talking face-to-face with the builder in question, I don’t think we can determine the answer. However, I believe this guy could be facing a grim future – not because he’s resisting the green movement, but because he’s resisting change. We all know you must adapt to changes to survive.
