SEN Honors Top Achievers
Fort Worth, TX Don Boico, CKD, president of the Roslyn, NY-based
Classic Kitchen & Bath, has been selected by the SEN Buying
Group as the third recipient of the M.A. Peterson Businessperson Of
The Year Award, the buying group announced.
The award, presented during SEN’s recent National Spring
Conference here, was one of several honors bestowed on
top-achieving SEN members and vendors by the buying group’s
president, Kenneth Peterson, CKD.
Boico was recognized for his company’s “consistent support of
SEN vendors, his 1999 record of high business achievement,” and his
first-place finish in a contest co-sponsored by SEN and Signature
Kitchens and Baths magazine.
The award Boico won is named in honor of Peterson’s father, an
NKBA founder who made a series of notable contributions to the
kitchen and bath industry, and is a member of the NKBA Hall of
Also honored by the Chapel Hill, NC-based SEN was Vendor of the
Year Bob Hatfield, national accounts manager for Whirlpool Corp.,
and Mentor of the Year Amir Ilin of Kuche+Cucina, Paramus, NJ.
Winning Top Ten Awards for generating the greatest SEN vendor
sales in 1999 were John Lang of Lang’s Kitchen & Bath,
Mercerville, NJ; Terry Cunningham of Kitchen Gallery, Knoxville,
