Business technology and business software are offering new ways for remodelers and home improvement professionals to improve client experience and customer satisfaction. In what ways are you using software or technology to improve client experience?:

Everything our clients need to know and view about the progress and status of their project is available at their fingertips logging into their account located on the cloud-based construction platform we utilize as well as through consistent communication transpiring from weekly site meeting and daily email communication. Each transparent platform along with constant communication from our build-design team lends high level of detail to each client’s project with clear, effective communication throughout the entire process. We provide homeowners with details, options, and action items, such as approving a change order, viewing build and design schedules, viewing progress photos, and making a payment all in one easy access portal.

Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:

We are transparent and communicative from the beginning about pricing due to our build-design teams streamlined process which includes preplanning, preselecting options, and reviewing sensitive timelines with the client, architect, vendor, and the client’s designer. We have in-depth, detailed communication with each team to determine all aspects of their budget and provide an exceptional finished product within their budget.

Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:

We design, schedule, and order all necessary products in advance to combat delays that certain industries are experiencing. Our effective build-design process allows us to be overly communicative and prepared for lengthy material timelines and create a clear scope of work schedule for each client.
