Skylight Firm Acquired by Velux

Greenwood, SC Velux, a major manufacturer of skylights, roof
windows and sun tunnels, has signed an agreement to acquire the
assets of Thermo-Vu Sunlite Industries, a leading regional supplier
of residential and commercial skylights, the company announced.

According to Velux America president Tim Miller, the purchase,
completed last month, includes the assets, trade names, patents and
inventory of Thermo-Vu, along with the company’s manufacturing
operations in Holtsville, NY.

Miller noted that the acquisition increases the ability of the
Greenwood, SC-based Velux to “provide the broadest skylight product
program in the industry.”
