Solid Surface Show Termed Another Success

Las Vegas Solid Surface 2000, the trade show aimed at
fabricators and related industry professionals in the solid surface
industry, attracted some 4,000 attendees and more than 120
exhibitors, and was termed by organizers as a “major success”

The show, which took place at the MGM Grand Convention Center here
last month, was conducted for the third year. It is the only trade
show specifically targeted at the fast-growing solid surface
industry.
The show expanded from 54 8’x10′ booths in 1998 to more than 300
10’x10′ booth spaces in over 30,000 sq. ft. of exhibit area this
year, according to its sponsor, the Henderson, NV-based
International Solid Surface Fabricators Association. ISSFA, also in
its third year, has grown to nearly 1,000 member companies, the
association added.

The show also consisted of three days of educational programs,
as well as an awards presentation and a tour of a fabrication shop
serving the Las Vegas region.
