CHICAGO—SOLA Group Inc., owner of Qualified Remodeler media, recently announced that Vegas Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon will be the keynote speaker at the sixth annual TOP 500 LIVE.
TOP 500 LIVE is the leading conference for entrepreneurs in the home improvement and remodeling industries. It is focused on themes of business professionalism, sales leadership and lead-generation. McCrimmon’s talk will spell out what it took to build an NHL champion from scratch, namely the required elements of leadership, team building, commitment, strategy and perseverance.

McCrimmon joined the fledgling National Hockey League expansion team in 2016 after spending 26 years with the Brandon (Manitoba) Wheat Kings, part of Canada’s Western Hockey League. The Golden Knights became just the second expansion team in NHL history to make it to the Stanley Cup finals in its first season. This past June, the team made it to the finals a second time and emerged victorious.
