Therma-Tru Programs Enhance the Service Model

architectural style.  The company also offers programs that
help a builder, installer or dealer run a more marketable business.

Therma-Tru’s newest service – the Certified
Installation Program – provides comprehensive training and
direct-from-the-manufacturer skills to install entryway
systems.  Therma-Tru is the first and only national door
manufacturer to provide a program of this kind.

“Those completing this program have a powerful extra tool in
their belts.  They are able to demonstrate to potential
customers that they’ve had the best training available and
are fully qualified to perform top-notch installations,” said
Jim Christopherson, director of technical sales and training for
Therma-Tru.

Participants complete two days of training and marketing programs led
by Therma-Tru door experts.  The training also provides
hands-on practice with manufacturer-recommended installation and
troubleshooting techniques.  Participants also have the chance
to tour Therma-Tru’s premier manufacturing facility.

Upon completion of written and practical exams, participants receive
marketing tools to promote themselves as Therma-Tru Certified
Installers. This designation helps drive business by building consumer
trust, providing added peace of mind in knowing their remodeling
contractor has completed the additional training.  The program
also builds business through free qualified sales leads that are
provided to Certified Installers in their area. Each participant also
receives a listing as a Certified Installer in Therma-Tru’s
online dealer locator.

To participate in the program, applicants must meet several enrollment
requirements, including two years of installation experience. For more

The Sales Accelerator is one example of the many ways Therma-Tru
embraces technology to better serve its channel partners.  The
cloud-based program combines a suite of existing tools with one
objective:  to reduce wasted time, effort and cost. 
The Electronic Price Guide (EPG) quickly generates price pages, and
TTQ, the company’s exclusive quote tool, then quickly
generates a quote that is presented to the customer. 
Dealer-to-fabricator orders are completed quickly and easily through
TTQ’s configuration process.

The fast, user-friendly Sales Accelerator supports dealers through time
savings and provides a service edge over the competition –
