TOP 500 LIVE Moves to Fall 2021

Qualified Remodeler's conference for home improvement professionals, TOP 500 LIVE, has been rescheduled. It will now be presented in November 2021.

EVANSTON, Ill., Sept. 17, 2020 – TOP 500 LIVE, the leading sales and lead-generation conference for home improvement professionals, is being re-scheduled to November of 2021 due to restrictions on gatherings of more that 25 people in New Orleans.

The conference was originally set to be held March 17 to 19, 2020 but was postponed to Nov. 2-3 this year when a global pandemic was declared. It had been hoped that COVID-19 would be controlled to a point where TOP 500 LIVE could be held safely this year, but New Orleans officials halted their phased reopening early this summer as it experienced an increase in the transmission rate of the virus. Exact dates have not been announced, but the entire event will be held at the same venue within the first two weeks of November next year—2021.

In addition to remaining in New Orleans, TOP 500 LIVE will feature many of the originally-scheduled speakers. TOP 500 LIVE was launched in 2017 out of the long-running list of the industry’s largest remodeling firms, the QR TOP 500, a ranking which has appeared in the magazine annually since 1978. The event has quickly grown to be an industry favorite.

“We did our best to push forward with the event this November, but we ultimately could not control the local restrictions on gatherings. We feel that moving it to the fall of 2021 is the best option,” said Patrick O’Toole, co-owner of SOLA Group Inc, which owns Qualified Remodeler, the conference sponsor.

“We are committed to presenting this conference in-person and we chose not to host a virtual conference with the same name. Instead, we plan to offer three Home Improvement Pro webinars, Nov. 2, Nov. 4, and Nov. 5, 2020.”

Home Improvement CEOs, Nov. 2-5, 2020

In the coming days, Qualified Remodeler is expected to announce details of three, 75-minute Home Improvement Pro Webinars, powered by CEO speakers from TOP 500 LIVE. The webinars will focus on sales leadership, lead-generation ideas and other key management topics.

“Virtual conferences do not offer the same engagement as live, in-person events. Our decision, therefore, is to host three, tightly-produced webinars with a dozen TOP 500 CEO as speakers,” O’Toole added. “We are excited about some of the commitments we’ve obtained. Complete lineups for all three webinars will be announced Monday, Sept. 28.”
