Business technology and business software are offering new ways for remodelers and home improvement professionals to improve client experience and customer satisfaction. In what ways are you using software or technology to improve client experience?:
We are using Hover. This gives the homeowner a 3D model of their home. They are able to make color changes and add decks/porticos to their home to see what it will look like. Also, this gives us more time to see more clients and give quicker feedback on their Proposals.
Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:
We try our best to stay on top of the price increases. We have great relationships with all of our venders and subs. We are continually keeping all lines of communications open with them. We also make special trips out of town to secure materials when needed for our jobs. We do what it takes to make a homeowner happy and get our jobs complete as quick as possible.
Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:
We always let the client know what is most available at the beginning and give a variety to choose. If something comes up during the process and is unavailable, we go above and beyond to try to find a match with homeowner approval as quick as possible.
