The second floor of the homeowner’s guest home includes an open game room/TV room and a wonderful balcony with outdoor TV that overlooks the backyard, pool area and cabana. To comfortably maintain the space, including resistance to insects, seven disappearing screens retain up to 90 percent of the conditioned air while the corner pocketing glass doors are open between the game room and balcony. The screens also protect the area from glare and solar heat, deflecting 90 percent of UV rays and 100 percent of the insects. When not in use, the screens remain concealed.
