QR: Your team was able to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction during the pandemic, a time of greater scrutiny because clients were at home more. There were also supply-chain delays. What measures did your firm take to maintain client satisfaction?

Supply chain issues required us to raise the level of communication with suppliers.  We also had to make sure our clients had everything they needed to make product solutions so things could be ordered to get them coming immediately, and before the next price increase from manufacturing or distribution.  Cleanliness of job sites was crucial with more clients working from home.

QR: Firms with happier employees have higher levels of customer satisfaction. What are the top ways you are able to keep your employees happy and satisfied?

This varies some for each employee.  Some of our production folks have a lot of freedom in their daily schedules, and are also able to bonus off of our production.  We try to give our office staff additional paid time off when possible to minimize burnout.

QR:Purpose driven” companies, those that exist to effect change or take action on something bigger than their products or services, attract a younger, higher skilled employees who tend to be more engaged workers. Some firms connect their “purpose” to a written mission statement. Do you operate a purpose-driven organization? And in what ways does your firm extend itself to outside causes.

We currently don’t have a written mission.  Our purpose has always been clear-we want to deliver an outstanding product for our clients that has great value.  No exceptions.
