The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?

We have been pretty proactive with this situation. We do not have any of the crew members in homes, and verified with the clients how they would like on site communication to occur.

Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?

We use a program that allows us to photograph areas of the project, mark them up, and include in our formal proposals. It really helps the client see problem areas we are trying to discuss or just the overall scope of the general project. We are also able to send photographs of finished projects to help them visualize the end result or help with color selections.

What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?

We let our clients know early that if they needed to put their project on hold that was fine. We also let them know that we were still able to work and complete their project if they like. We made adjustments as necessary to schedule or how the work was performed.
