The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?
We began using zip walls for all interior installations. This is a barrier system that allows us to create a plastic barrier sealing off a room, section of a room, door, hallway, etc. from floor to ceiling.
Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?
Our industry still requires us to visit the home to attain scope of work for accurate pricing and quotes. We have implemented a “contactless consultation” where we can provide digital estimates and contracts while outside the home. This lets the customer direct how they want to interact with us.
What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?
We communicated in advance with our customers as to the protocols we implemented for their safety and the safety of our employees.
