Winners Reach ‘Pinnacle’ at POLYCON 2000
Phoenix, AZ The International Cast Polymer Association and
Reichold Inc. announced the winners of its prestigious Pinnacle
Awards at the ICPA annual trade show and convention, POLYCON 2000,
held here in March.
The Pinnacle Awards are given annually to recognize creativity,
innovation and quality in the cast polymer industry, according to
the McLean, VA-based trade association and Reichold Inc.
A panel of judges, including Kitchen & Bath Design News’
East Coast regional sales manager Joanne Naylor, Ed Pell from ESP
Ventures and representatives from Reichold, selected winners in
three categories: Most Innovative Vanity, Most Innovative
Application and Best Installation. According to ICPA, the Most
Innovative Vanity award recognizes “creativity in the vanity top
arena, and [the] showcasing [of] swirls, veining, graphic
embedding, bowl styles and backsplashes.” The Most
Innovative Application award recognizes “the most original
application of cultured marble, granite, onyx or solid surface
product,” while the Best Installation Award recognizes “quality
installation [and] creative use of color, design , pattern and

Pinnacle Award for Most Innovative Vanity for his custom inlay
vanity made of solid surface.
Bradley Corp. of Menomonee Falls, WI received the Pinnacle Award
for Most Innovative Application for the company’s Express Image
Jerry Lippert of the Mandeville, LA-based Marble Quarry, Inc.
received the Pinnacle Award for Best Installation. His winning
project, known as “Paragon Solid Surfaces,” fused a Periwinkle
Special Blend hue with a white finish and bull nose edge
Next year’s trade show and convention and award ceremony will be
held in February in Atlanta, ICPA noted.
