Wood-Mode Celebrates 60 Years
Kreamer, PA Wood-Mode, Inc., the manufacturer of custom and
semi-custom cabinetry, based here, is celebrating its 60th
anniversary.
Owned and managed by Robert L. Gronlund, chairman and CEO, the
1.3-million-sq.-ft. manufacturing complex has over 1,800 workers,
many of whom are second- and third-generation employees, the
company notes.
The company, started as a small planing mill with eight
employees intent on manufacturing metal cabinets, now markets
its cabinetry through a network of more than 800 independent
dealers across the U.S.
