November 4, 2025 – West Palm Beach, FL — Florida Window & Door has acquired four regional home improvement companies previously owned by Leaf Home, expanding its footprint in key markets across Florida, Texas, and Illinois.
The acquisitions include StormTight Windows of Deerfield Beach, Florida; StormTight Windows of Webster (Houston), Texas; Miracle Window & Shower of Jacksonville, Florida; and WindowWorks of Bolingbrook, Illinois. The deal, which closed this week, transfers ownership of the companies’ window divisions to Florida Window & Door. The bath divisions will not be continued under the new ownership.
Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. But company CEO and owner Scott Berman said no outside investors were involved in the purchases. All of the funds were from Florida Window & Door and traditional commercial banking facilities, he said.
Florida Window & Door plans to reinvest heavily in marketing and operations, Berman added. He also intends to maintain the brands’ established names and local identities—except for Miracle Window & Shower, which will eventually be folded into the Florida Window & Door brand as its Jacksonville location.
The transactions are seen as a win for both Leaf Home and Florida Window & Door. Leaf Home, which focuses on gutter protection, among other services, reportedly does not want to operate a window division, said Berman. At the same time, Florida Window & Door can expand its footprint to other states using the StormTight brand, which has a long history carries some brand equity with consumers in those markets. And it avoids having to go to market with the name ‘Florida’ in other states.
The integration process is already underway, said Berman, with marketing and customer outreach initiatives set to begin immediately. QR
